Great question! This is a development from Walnut Capital and Massaro Properties.

The units are all market-rate. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette article, the one-bedroom units will start at $1,100. They are hoping to attract graduate students and young professionals to the building.

We at East Liberty Development, Inc. are committed to making sure that East Liberty is a stable, sustainable, mixed-income community and we want to make sure our partners do the same. Thanks for reaching out, and don't hesitate to ask more questions!

Are these going to be more high end apartments that even the average middle income East Liberty resident won't be able to afford?

I love the direction that the neighborhood is going but don't forget the middle class in your development.
